About Tsirang
Tsirang is a small district in the southern hills, between Dagana and Sarpang. Its only town, Damphu, sits on a ridge at about 1,570 m.
This is farming country. Tsirang is one of Bhutan’s main orange-growing districts, and oranges and vegetables are what most households sell.
The road from the north follows the Punatsang Chhu, the river that flows down from Punakha.
None of our set itineraries goes to Tsirang. If you would like to see it, tell us when you write, and we will say plainly what is possible on a tailor-made trip.
